· Hope Family Medical Center – Stacy McCune, Behavioral Health Counselor, Mon., Wed., Fri.

· Magoffin County Adult Drug Court – An 18 to 24 month program for addicts who have legal charges based on a phase system. Participants may be referred by the judge or by request.   Requirements:  must have a home to live in, transportation to the program, admit to substance abuse and have non-violent charges.  Contact Daphne Helton @ 349-6624.

· Magoffin Local Board/Coalition for KY-Agency for Substance Abuse Policy/Drug Free Communities – Develops coalitions to work a long term strategy to reduce substance abuse in youth and adults in Magoffin County.   Full time staff provides resource information, drug screening, and referrals for substance abuse treatment.  Contact: Carolyn Isaac, RN – Magoffin KY-ASAP/DFC  Board/Coalition Coordinator, Magoffin County Health Department @ 349-6212 Extention 119. New coalition members are welcome.   

· Kentucky Mission Bible Training Center - An 8 – 10 month program of Christian Discipleship Training for drug addicts, alcoholics, and people who suffer emotional problems. Directors:   Lola and Bob Feldhaus @ 349-7607 or 349-7620. Open meetings every evening 7:30PM-9:00PM

· Mountain Comprehensive Care Center – provides outpatient therapy for substance abusers and families, provides DUI school, takes referrals from Magoffin County Adult Drug Court in conjunction with Daphne Helton, provides assessment and referrals for medicinal or non medicinal detox (in conjunction with The Layne House), facility for court ordered self referral and involuntary commitment for substance abuse (Casey’s Law) Call 349-3115.

· NA (Narcotics Anonymous) – Twelve step program, At The End of the Road, meets Wednesday @ 7:00 PM at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. For more meeting information call 1-855-319-8869.

· NA (Narcotics Anonymous)- Twelve step program, meets Tuesdays @ 6:00PM at the Magoffin County Health Department Community Room. Contact Carolyn @ 349-6212 Extention 119.

· NA (Narcotics Anonymous) – Open meeting to anyone desiring to attend. Meets 11 AM Monday at the Justice Center in conjunction with Adult Drug Court. Contact Daphne Helton @ 349-6624.

· Nar-Anon – A 12 step self-help group for the families and friends of addicts – stresses anonymity - meets 6PM every Tuesday at Magoffin County Health Department.  Contact:   Kathy Bailey @ (606) 349-3714.

· Parkway Medical, Dr. Thomas Nugent – Medicated assisted therapy buprenorphine/suboxone

· REACH – (Reaching Every Addict with Christ’s Help) – A faith based program which assists in finding treatment (help with entry fee placement), provides support to recovering addicts, operates a help line, and provides Drug Education to 7th and 8th graders. Contact Larry Bennett @ 349-3733.

· Recovery Mentor- Jeff Montgomery, recovering addict, clean for 6+ years available for mentoring and counseling. Contact Number - 424-1363.

· The Layne House – A substance abuse rehabilitation facility located in Prestonsburg, KY. (Works in conjunction with Mountain Comprehensive Care Center in Magoffin County) - A 45 day residential detox facility serving both males and females.  Must be 18 years of age, diagnosed as chemically dependent, and be willing to participate in the treatment program.
